SuraimuStudios's News

Hello everyone!

We have been really busy in the last couple of months working on a big action game but we also took a break to participate in a 48 hour Game Jam in Brazil (our game is in english, don't worry). The thing is, part of the criteria to decide who won is by voting.

To vote for a submission, all people have to do is like the official trailer in their channel.

Please check the game out and leave a like in the video if you like it. Also share it with your friends!

All info about the game can be found in the game's page which is in the video's description.

You can go to our video clicking here! Link for the game in the description.

Like we've said up there, the game was made in a single weekend. It's a RTS game.

Thank you very much!

Also stay tuned because we are working on a lot of good stuff!

The results for the HaxeFlixel jam came out, check them out here!

I have to admit that after all the submissions came in, I didn't feel like I could do that well, the game got a lot of positive feedback and really useful criticism and ideas and it was a blast to participate. I would be really happy right now if I were not in panic thanks to a bunch of things I need to make for college. The main reason why I'm writing this is to explain what I want to do with Past Persistence and why it might take a while.

What I want to do without a doubt is a sequel fully exploring the ghost concept, however, for that I will need to study the flixel tools more in depth and maybe submit some updates to the current version, so it gets really polished, and the main issue with that is that again, college. Let me put into perspective why it might take a while to update the game:

Right now, I have a full time job and after that I "go" to college (right now we're doing web conferences because corona). It's not everyday, only 3 out of the 5 days of the week, but the issue is not the classes themselves, but the fact that we have to develop our last project for it, a game as well, and we (the full team) have been meeting our deadlines with way too much panic. Since this HAS to be a banger, I'm trying to put all of my free time into it. I might get some free time on july (summer break), which will be more than enough to update Past Persistence a little bit.

Sorry for the wall of text here, but I guarantee you that you will be seeing more of Past Persistence in the future and a bunch of more cool stuff. Thanks for the support!
